Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Her UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina, and ground-and - beat her to an TKO win in the second round. Then, in her third fight she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. She also received the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a unanimous vote.
