Bill Self is one of the most well-known and wealthy Basketball Coach who was born on December 27, 1962, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, United States. Self was the head coach for TU's Golden Hurricane, which made successive NCAA Tournament appearances in the years 1999 and 2000. Self led Golden Hurricane's first Elite Eight game in 1999-2000. He was awarded letters of recommendation all the four years. He graduated in 1985 with an MBA degree and, in 1989, he earned a master's degree in sports management from Oklahoma State.
