She is best known for her role as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television show Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from the Dawson's creek series. The three-year run as Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned nominations for Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 for the category Outstanding Newcomer. Between 2007 and 2008, Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC show Women's Murder Club. Dollar was a part of the 2012 NBC series pilot Happy Valley which was not picked up.
